A week in Afiyet

How it works, from Monday to the first of the month.

  1. Mon
    Team enters availability

Per day or service period, on their phone. Time off requested from the same calendar. You set the date it stays open until.

  2. Wed
    You publish the roster

Load a template, fill the open shifts; preferences, short rest and who can't work are right there. Everyone gets a notification.

  3. Thu – Sun
Clock in via the QR at the bar

Reminder the evening before. Hours within the tolerance of the roster approve themselves overnight — you only see what deviates.

  4. 1st
Tips distributed, month report to the accountant

Sick, waiting day and leave in the right columns. One Excel in the payroll format, done.

What's inside

Everything a venue of 8 to 60 staff needs.

Roster per area

Service, bar, kitchen as their own tabs. Week templates for summer, winter and terrace. Copy last week with or without names.

Availability & preferences

Whole days, service periods or a range. Preferred days per week, with a flag when you book someone over it.

Hours & clock

Clock in via the QR at the venue, manager entry, weekly approval — or automatic.

Tips

Pool per period, split by hours, equally or by points. Admin hours don't count; freelancers and office staff excluded.

Dutch hospitality rules built in

The CAO Horeca is the collective labour agreement that applies to nearly every venue. Afiyet applies the parts that touch hours: youth-wage check by age, waiting day and sick hours separate, holiday hours flagged — so the accountant never has to guess.

Reports & export

Worked vs scheduled, labour cost per week, open shifts, sick days. Month report as Excel in the payroll's columns.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a demo or a sales call?
No. You sign up, pay the first month and you're in. Questions go through the WhatsApp button in the app; you get an answer the same day.
What if it's not for us after 30 days?
Say so, and you get the full amount back. No questions.
Do seasonal staff count in the price?
Only if they have an active employment on the billing day. Someone who doesn't work in winter doesn't count.
Does it work on the phone?
Yes. The team uses Afiyet on their phone (home-screen app, with notifications); you on laptop or phone.
Which Dutch labour rules are built in?
The CAO Horeca is the collective labour agreement for Dutch hospitality — it sets minimum wages per age (youth wage), the unpaid waiting day when someone calls in sick, sick pay and public-holiday supplements. Afiyet sorts the hours into the right buckets: youth-wage check by age, waiting day and sick hours separate, holiday hours flagged. Your payroll applies the percentages from the month report.
Can I take my data if I leave?
Yes — month reports as Excel and an export of your data on request.
Can I bring my current roster or Excel?
Nothing to import. Your standard week becomes a week template in 10 minutes; availability arrives in the app from then on instead of the group chat.
What does it cost for a venue with 10 staff?
€70 per month — the minimum covers up to 15 active employees. With 20 it's €92.50; the slider above works it out exactly.
